Yard Operative

IMH currently seeking a General Operative to join our client in Barnsley in a fast-paced manufacturing/ recycling environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production process and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. The Role: * Operate machinery and equipment under supervision * Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment * Operate power tools and hand tools to complete various yard maintenance activities * Stripping down cables. About You: * Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team * Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and supervisors * Basic understanding of health and safety regulations * Physical fitness for manual handling tasks * Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures Hours & Pay * Monday to Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm * Starting salary £12.21 per hour. * Please note that if you are successful this is subject to a drug and alcohol test.* This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a manufacturing setting, develop practical skills, and contribute to the production of high-quality goods.
